Ryan has 12 years of Public Safety Experience as a fire fighter, 911 telecommunicator, and professional public safety instructor. During this time, Ryan also was on several speaking panels and committees for industry associations such as APCO, National Emergency Number Association (NENA), and International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED). Holding many high level certifications from APCO and NENA, Ryan has quickly become a go-to person for training in the public safety field. Most recently, he served as the Director of Project Management for the Denise Amber Lee Foundation. His efforts in improving training for 9-1-1 nationwide were rewarded by receiving the 2018 National NENA Presidents Award and also the Texas APCO Presidents Award.
